After dropping her fifth album on Friday, popular rapper/singer Doja Cat has announced a world tour that will bring her to Minneapolis on Oct. 4, 2026, at Target Center.

The “Paint the Town Red” hitmaker’s 50-concert Tour Ma Vie World Tour starts in November in New Zealand, but she doesn’t perform in the States until October 2026. Minneapolis will be her third U.S. show.

At this month’s MTV Music Video Awards, Doja Cat performed “Jealous Type” with saxophonist Kenny G, from her new album “Vie.” She just dropped another single, “Gorgeous.”

In a review of the new album, Rolling Stone said the hip-hop-loving star “veers closer to the high-gloss pop of her breakthrough albums ‘Planet Her’ and ‘Hot Pink.’”

Whether exploring hip-hop, R&B or pop, the Los Angeles artist has had a steady presence since releasing her 2018 debut album. She’s scored a parade of hits including “Agora Hills” and “Woman” and such collabs as “Kiss Me More,” “You Right” and “Say So.”

The Grammy-winning Doja has been so prominent on social media that she’s been dubbed “queen of memes,” and she was named by Time as one of the most influential people of 2023.

Doja Cat last performed in the Twin Cities in 2023 at sold-out Target Center.

Tickets for next year’s Minneapolis concert will go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 10 at dojacat.com. There is a presale starting at 10 a.m. Oct. 7 but people must sign up here by 10 p.m. Oct. 5.
