MADISON, Wis. — Madison police say officers shot an aggressive dog as a SWAT team raised a house as part of a drug investigation.

Several people were arrested as they ran from the house during the search around midday Thursday. Police spokesman Joel DeSpain says the SWAT team was executing a "high-risk" search warrant as part of a Dane County Narcotics Task Force investigation.

No officers or suspects were injured.
