Document: UMore Park mining agreement

The U finalized its 40-year agreement this month with Dakota Aggregates LLC for mining more than 1,700 acres of the property in Rosemount and Empire Township.

That 104-page lease sets the initial prices the U will earn for each ton of gravel, sand, clay and dirt mined. It outlines where the company can mine and when. It also explains who's liable if things go wrong.
