For the couple who truly have everything, here's something to add a little, um, spice to your relationship and your wall: a painting kit meant to inspire lovers to "safely" create their own masterpiece on canvas while being intimate.
The Love Is Art kit was developed by Atlanta abstract artist Jeremy Brown, who came up with the idea after being complimented on his own paintings that were created during acts of lovemaking. Brown hopes the kits will provide couples with a "unique bonding experience" as they work together to create their abstract works of art.
"Art takes patience, dedication, creativity, an open mind and an open heart," Brown said. "So does love. Love is art."
Couples are instructed to roll the plastic sheet out onto the floor, place the specially treated canvas on top of the plastic sheet, pour the paint onto the canvas, and then use their bodies to move the paint around and across the canvas to create an image.
The art created from a couple's special moment can then be stretched onto a frame and hung on the wall.
The Love Is Art kit is $60 (www.loveisartkit.com) and includes plastic sheeting to protect surfaces from paint, a white canvas, nontoxic washable paint, slippers and a custom body scrubber to clean up once the art project is complete.
