The Ramsey County Water Patrol and Dive Team searched until dark Saturday for a man who disappeared while swimming with another man across Gervais Lake in Little Canada.
Sheriff's Sgt. John Eastham said officials were called to the scene just after 3:30 p.m. "We received a call that two adult males were swimming across the lake," he said. "One made it across, and when he turned around, the other man wasn't there."
Authorities said they will begin searching again early Sunday morning after the sun comes up.
