The Central Scouting Bureau's midseason rankings are dominated by players from Canada's junior leagues.
The only top 10 player not playing in Canada is Tyler Biggs of the under-18 U.S. national team. He is a 6-2, 210-pound right wing rated No. 5.
Here is a list of players with Gopher ties in the top 210:
28. Seth Ambroz, Omaha, 6-2, 211, right wing. He was accelerating and hoped to play for Gophers this season, but ran into academic problems. At start of season, Ambroz was touted as a possible top 10 choice but has slipped. Playing for Omaha of USHL for third year.
30. Mario Lucia, Wayzata High School, 6-2, 183, left wing. Lucia is the Don's son. Already taller than older brother Tony. Top-rated high school player in state. Only a junior. Still uncommitted.
65. Mike Reilly, Shattuck-St. Mary's, 5-10-1/2, 150, defenseman. Committed to U, following lead of two older brother Ryan and Connor, who are playing for Sioux Falls in USHL. A junior at Shattuck in Faribault.
