"All the fishing I do in the wintertime is panfishing. Nisswa Lake is good for sunnies. We're getting some crappies there at times, but mainly sunfish. Clark Lake has been good for crappies. We're getting some walleyes, too, especially in that afternoon time frame, two hours before dark on Pelican, Round and North Long lakes. And Gull Lake's been fair on walleyes, but not as good as past years. The reason I fish panfish is, it's just a lot more action. All I need are 10 panfish for my wife and I to have a meal. I think other people, too, would enjoy it, rather than going out and catching nothing."
