"Mountain bike races are incredibly spectator-friendly. Many fans just hang around the finish line. But a lot of our fans choose to go out into the woods and into the fields to see these kids racing on singletrack. You might be cheering them through a technical singletrack section over rocks and roots. You might be cheering them on as they do a climb. Or watching them in one of the passing zones. Cow bells are welcomed and strongly encouraged."
Josh Kleve, director, Minnesota High School Cycling League
The Minnesota High School Cycling League hosts its state championship races on Sunday at Whitetail Ridge in River Falls, Wis. More information: www.minnesotamtb.org.
