"Any person could ride any trail at Cuyuna Lakes [Mountain Bike Trails]. That's how the trails were designed — to allow both beginners and experts to have equal amounts of fun, just by riding differently. For a supposedly beginner trail, check out Easy Street. You'll have views of mining lakes the entire time. Easy Street brings you around the whole outer slope of the tailings pile, because the entire system is built on an old tailings pile from the mining era. You can go all the way to the top [of the pile] if you want. It's kind of hard to get up there on your bike, but people could even walk up the road. The very, very top is called Miner's Mountain. It has amazing views of the entire area. You can look all the way to Brainerd from there."
