Five dollars goes far at Uptown Cafeteria (3001 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls., 612-877-7263, www. uptowncafeteria.com), at least on weeknights from 4 to 10 p.m., when the deals include burgers with a gigantic array of choose-your-own toppings (Monday), three jumbo tacos (Tuesday) and a fish fry (Friday).
