Mattamy Homes says that they've acquired a 64-unit townhome site in Prior Lake, where the company plans to start digging this summer. The project is about 20 miles southwest of Minneapolis. Steve Logan, the company's Minnesota division vice president, said that construction will start this summer on three- to five-bedroom town houses with two car garages that will start at about $180,000. Those units will range from 1,571 to 2,327 square feet, including full basements. Mattamy Homes U.S. Group is a division of the largest home builder in Canada and has operations in Charlotte, Jacksonville and Orlando.
