The 15th annual Diamond Awards, held at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel — The Depot, was a celebration of baseball and philanthropy. Several Twins baseball players received awards for their contributions to the team. And many players attended the annual event, including Luis Arraez and Mitch Garver. Goldy, the University of Minnesota mascot, added to the festivities at the opening reception. Proceeds from the event will benefit research and the patients receiving care for brain, nerve and muscle disorders at the University of Minnesota.
