DFLer Daniel Fanning to jump into 8th District race

He will become the fourth candidate to vie to take down freshman Republican U.S. Rep. Chip Cravaack.

Add a new Democratic name to the 8th District race to take down Republican U.S. Rep. Chip Cravaack.

Daniel Fanning, a military veteran and former U.S. Sen. Al Franken staffer, will join the race with an official kick-off Sunday, he confirmed.

Democrats Jeff Anderson, Tarryl Clark and Rick Nolan are already running.
