State Sen. John Marty Wednesday will become the first DFL candidate for governor to announce his running mate pick.
Marty has claimed his campaign is in third in delegate counts for the DFL's April convention but his campaign says he's positioned to pick up steam.
"With over 500 delegates still uncommitted, Marty is in a strong position to contend for the party's nomination," his campaign said.
