Detroit Lakes man dies in motorcycle crash; victim of Saturday crash identified

A 20-year-old man from Detroit Lakes, Minn., died early Sunday in Otter Tail County after his motorcycle ran off the road, according to the State Patrol.

The motorcyclist was westbound on Hwy. 10, west of Hwy. 78, just after 5:30 a.m. when he entered the median and rolled over, the patrol said. The cyclist, whose name has not been released, died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet, the patrol said.

Also Sunday, authorities identified a 34-year-old Otsego woman killed Saturday in northwestern Hennepin County. Victoria Jean Dorkins died when the car she was driving collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of County Road 50 and Vernon Street in Greenfield.
