Wine tasting in Palisade, COlo.
How to taste: Biking is big in Palisade. Bikes are available to rent at Rapid Creek Cycles. Routes are well marked by signs noting the Colorado Fruit & Wine Byway, which meanders past orchards, lavender farms and locals' homes. Vehicles are respectful and traffic is manageable.
When to visit: Prime wine time would be Sept. 17-20, when the town hosts the Colorado Mountain Winefest, featuring a grape stomp, demonstrations and dozens of wineries.
Where to stay: Various motels, hotels and B&Bs serve the area. Catering to wine fiends is the Wine Country Inn, which offers bottles from neighboring Grande River Vineyards. Mountains are visible from the pool and outdoor patio.

Music Review: Anitta welcomes listeners into her 'Funk Generation' on new album

It is an infectious collection of dance songs celebrating a once maligned genre that also manages to experiment beyond its confines. But those searching for more mainstream pop music should look elsewhere.
