College highlights: Attended Arizona after originally committing to Southern California. Was Pac-10 freshman of the year after leading the Wildcats in scoring (15.7 per game) and rebounds (7.1). As a sophomore he was Pac-10 player of the year and a consensus second-team All-America. Had a career-high 32 points -- 25 in the first half -- in an upset of Duke in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament last spring.
