Former Wild forward Derek Boogaard's funeral is tentatively set for Saturday at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Depot in Regina, Saskatchewan.

"The Depot is the RCMP training facility where all RCMP members do their training prior to becoming a full-fledged member. My dad, two uncles, stepmother and I had all trained there," said Derek's brother, Ryan Boogaard, 27. "It has a rich history and the chapel is one of the oldest buildings in the province."

Boogaard said the chapel seats 185, so "we will have just close friends and family in the chapel."

But another building, the theater, will be for all other guests who wish to pay their respects. It's a larger building that seats more than the chapel. Ryan's understanding is that there will be a feed from the chapel to TV's for the service.
