Off the field: When the computer or cable TV need fixing, Dorvil's brother and teammate Kevin Placide gets summoned. Deon, who fancies himself a culinary major in college, is the kitchen magician. For now he counts steak and chicken among his specialties. He also enjoys snowboarding, proof that even a native of Miami can find joy in a Minnesota winter.
