An impressive swath of 3-6 inches of snow is expected from around Lubbock, TX east into central Georgia. Most of northern Texas and Louisiana will be blanketed in over 3 inches of snow by storms end. 1-3 inches is expected around the periphery of the heavier snow. This will cover and area from central Texas the whole way to the Atlantic Ocean.
If you have any travel plans in the south over the next two days, by sure to plan ahead and allow for extra time. Slick travel is anticipated and travel will be difficult.
