How could we have a Fringe without standup comics and musicians mixing things up? In "Debacle," storytellers Jason Schommer and Allison Broeren tell tales of cat-sitting, allergic boyfriends, puppies, tampons floating in pools and stray 2 a.m. encounters in Las Vegas. Not a lot of guffaws but some grins along the way, and both comics find enough narrative to hold our interest. The best part of the show, though, is singer Katy Vernon, who jumps in several times to break up the stories with her ukulele. What a fascinating voice and charming personality Vernon has. (4 p.m. Sat., 10 p.m. Tue., 7 p.m. Aug. 12, 2:30 p.m. Aug. 13, Ritz Theater Mainstage, 345 13th Av. NE., Mpls.)
