Dayton's Thanksgiving plans
"I take a pouch out of the refrigerator, I microwave it for a minute and a half…" the governor describes his nightly routines

Morning Dish staffers were poring over an old news release from former Gov. Rudy Perpich's office detailing his family's Thanksgiving feast in 1986.

Hot Dish asked Gov. Mark Dayton if journalists can expect a similar release outlining the bachelor governor's Thanksgiving dinner.
"I can give you that news release now," Dayton said with a laugh.
He said every night he puts down a bowl of food for each of his two dogs and then "I take a pouch out of the refrigerator, I microwave it for a minute and a half…and we eat."
Dayton said he makes no exceptions for Thanksgiving, "unless someone wants to invite me somewhere, which happens rarely, but we will see."
