Five days into a state government shutdown, DFL Gov. Mark Dayton and Republican legislative leaders will resume budget negotiations Tuesday afternoon.

The two sides will meet at 2:30 p.m. in the governor's office.

It will be the first time the two sides have met since midnight Thursday, when the previous two-year budget expired and the two sides failed to reach a budget agreement.
