Daytime robberies near U

Dec. 15, 3:30 p.m.: A man who said he had a gun confronted a student studying in the Carlson School of Management atrium. He took the student's laptop, but later dropped it when the student gave chase.

Dec. 11, 9:20 a.m.: A man robbed a woman, taking her backpack, as she walked to school.

Dec. 8, 4:20 p.m. A man threatened a woman with a gun as she scraped ice off her car's windshield.

Nov. 30, 8:45 a.m. A man waiting at a University Avenue bus stop was punched in the face and robbed of his wallet, cell phone and backpack.
