State Sen. Dick Day, R-Owatonna, said he is resigning from the Minnesota Senate, and said he will announce his future plans that include issues related to a new stadium for the Minnesota Vikings.
"It will have some information about Vikings stadiums," Day said in a phone message. "Stadiums are in the mix."
Day has scheduled a press conference Tuesday morning to announce his plans. Day, a former Senate Minority Leader, is serving his sixth term in the Senate, and was first elected in 1990.
