Letterman was on "The View," and we saw some fine, incisive interviewin' going on:

Yes, as they say in the interviewing business, when someone throws out a tantalizing implication, just let it go.

Here's David as an ironic, post-modern MC for a 1977 failed gameshow. It's a pilot; never made it on the air. Look at that panel! All it needs is Rip Taylor running around throwing confetti. (h/t to Neil Justin, who found this one for us.)
