Anyone who follows the Mayor of Minneapolis on Twitter - I mean the actual Mayor, not someone who's just been named Mayor of Minneapolis on Foursquare and thinks anyone in the world could possibly care - got this tweet last night:
Did they ride the bikes down the aisle, slam on the brakes, do a somersault dismount and land on the stage? If you want context, it turns out that Mr. Byrne - former Talking Heads frontman, of course - is on a pro-bike speaking tour around the country. He describes it like this:
As of this moment there's no video up anywhere. Someone has to have some pictures of this. Isn't that what everyone has trained themselves to do? You see something slightly unusual, you whip out a camera or cellphone and start observing the event through the viewscreen, so you can enjoy it on a larger viewscreen later.
