Darko out tonight vs. Thunder

Wolves starting center won't play because of quadriceps contusion sustained Monday in New York

December 9, 2010 at 12:13AM

Darko Milicic just limped down a Target Center corridor on his way to the locker room after trying to get his bruised quadriceps loose, shook his head and said two words:

"Not tonight."

He will not play, which means the Wolves will start Kevin Love at center, Michael Beasley at power forward, Wes Johnson at small forward and Corey Brewer at shooting guard.

Johnson will draw the initial defensive assignment on Thunder superstar Kevin Durant.
