Parts of the deep South will broil once again on Sunday as a large highpressure system sits over the region, keeping it sunny and unseasonablyhot.Afternoon temperatures from northeast Texas to Alabama will climb above thecentury mark on Sunday, with some spots surpassing 105 degrees. Factoring inthe sunshine, light winds and high humidity it will feel more like 110 to 115degrees during the afternoon from southeast Oklahoma to Mississippi.

This type of heat can be extremely dangerous for the elderly, pets and thosewho have to be outside for a prolonged period of time.
