A very slow-moving cold front will produce torrential rainfall from portions of northern Texas and Oklahoma through Michigan Sunday through early in the week. Through a very sizable area, rainfall totals will be in the 2- to 4-inch range, and up to 6 inches is possible. Significant flooding will threaten lives and property, especially since some heavy rain will come down over a short period of time.

Some downpours will be unleashed by big-time thunderstorms, which will also be capable of producing damaging winds and hail.
