Dangerous Flooding Sunday and Beyond

A very slow-moving cold front will produce torrential rainfall from portionsof northern Texas and Oklahoma through Michigan Sunday through early in theweek. Through a very sizable area, rainfall totals will be in the 2- to 4-inchrange, and up to 6 inches is possible. Significant flooding will threaten livesand property, especially since some heavy rain will come down over a shortperiod of time.Some downpours will be unleashed by big-time thunderstorms, which will alsobe capable of producing damaging winds and hail.
