Dancing about nature
It's an evening of dance paired with kick sleds, snowshoes, skis and accordions. Choreographer Laurie Van Wieren presents "Winter Fieldwork" against the wintry backdrop of Silverwood Park. The sequel to last year's "Summer Fieldwork," the new show features a mix of dancers and winter sports enthusiasts. A naturalist guides audience members to various performances throughout the park and, eventually, corrals everyone to the lodge for some fireside hot chocolate. (5 p.m., Silverwood Park., 2500 County Rd. E, St. Anthony. Free. 763-559-9000, threeriversparks.org.)
