'Super-Mad-

Body-Jack'

Saturday-Sunday: Emerging choreographers Non Edwards and Missa Kes take on what it means to be dance artists in the Twin Cities, with a collection of five pieces including one video, two solos, a duet and a cornerstone piece that the two created together and will both perform. The latter piece lasts 25 minutes. "It's very much about how we are trying to understand who we think we are as artists and what it means to be a member of the community here," Edwards said. With an eye toward how they "brand" themselves as artists, the work includes the dance fantasies and nightmares of the two dancers, who met in 2011 when Edwards choreographed a piece on Kes for a Zenon Dance Zone recital. Much of the piece is about "trying to match our desires with the practicality of trying to get to where we want to be," Edwards said. (7 p.m. Sat. & Sun., Bryant-Lake Bowl, 810 W. Lake St., Mpls. $10-18. 612-825-8949 and bryantlakebowl.com.)

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
