Dance spotlight: Impetus dance festival at Soap Factory

Thursday-Saturday: The Soap Factory offers up a new experience for dancers and dance fans with Impetus, a four-day festival filled to the brim with opportunities to watch and participate in classes, view open rehearsals and attend lectures on the creative process. Everything is open to the public at no charge and no registration requirement. A gala performance on Saturday evening will highlight the work of the week's featured choreographers: the BodyCartography Project (pictured), Non Edwards, Emily Gastineau, Paul Herwig, Dustin Maxwell, Jes Nelson, Tamara Ober and Vanessa Voskuil.
