As it ramps up for its Sept. 9-11 grand opening weekend (Sept. 9-11), the Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts in Minneapolis has been showcasing dance across the region.
On Tuesday, a flash mob of scores of dancers descended on the Nicollet Mall sidewalk outside the IDS Center, Minneapolis’ tallest building. Bringing dance to gazers and grazers, the dancers moved to music by Prince (“Let’s Go Crazy”), The Time (“Jungle Love”) and Lipps Inc. (“Funkytown”). Here is a link to the video.
