Severe weather will continue to impact the southern Plains Saturday.Thunderstorms will bring torrential downpours and damaging winds fromsouth-central Texas through eastern Oklahoma into northern Louisiana. Localizedflash flooding will be a concern; however, some of this rainfall will bebeneficial, as areas from San Antonio to Houston still remain in an extreme toexceptional drought.
During the afternoon, a line of thunderstorms will erupt from northeasternTexas to south-central Kansas. These storms will be disruptive to any travelplans, as they may contain wind gusts over 50 mph and damaging hail.
