BURNSVILLE

SEPT. 21

Theft. Effexor and Trazodone medications, total value $100, were reported stolen in the 13600 block of James Avenue S.

SEPT. 22

Theft. Miscellaneous vegetables and a plastic rain gauge, estimated value $175, were reported stolen near W. 135th Street and Upton Avenue S.

SEPT. 24

Theft. A 10-drawer tool chest filled with tools, total value $1,650, was reported stolen in the 800 block of Lady Bird Lane.

Theft. A laptop computer and charger, total value $600, were reported stolen in the 13000 block of Oliver Avenue S.

SEPT. 27

Theft. An iPod Nano and a GPS unit, total value $500, were reported stolen in the 13000 block of Harriet Avenue S.

EAGAN

OCT. 11

Stolen property. A stolen Acura that had been taken in Edina was found parked on the street in the 1300 block of Windcrest Avenue with its hood open.

Burglary. An Xbox, cord and controller were stolen from an apartment at Lincoln Place, 1997 Gold Trail.

OCT. 12

Property damage. A window was broken at Thomas Lake Elementary, 4350 Thomas Lake Road.

Indecent exposure. A caller said she was in the parking lot at Meadowlands Park, 4380 Beaver Dam Road, when a man in a pickup truck pulled up alongside her and performed a lewd act. She told police it was not the first time she'd seen the man do the same thing.

OCT. 13

Theft. A laptop was stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Bridle Ridge Road.

Property damage, theft. Somebody siphoned $200 worth of fuel from a truck at Walcro Inc. The truck had been equipped with anti-theft equipment designed to prevent people from siphoning fuel, but the thief used a tool to disable it, causing $1,535 in damage.

LAKEVILLE

OCT. 9

Burglary. A home in the 18200 block of Kingsway Path was burglarized.

Forgery. Counterfeit money was reported in the 11200 block of W. 210th Street.

OCT. 10

Theft. A vehicle was stolen in the 16300 block of Java Lane.

LILYDALE

OCT. 6

Burglary. Somebody broke into Moose Country, 857 Hwy. 13, and damaged and stole items from inside.

Burglary. Somebody broke into the Pool & Yacht Club, 1600 Lilydale Road, and stolen several bottles of liquor and a till from a cash register.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS

OCT. 6

Theft. An iPod touch was reported stolen from a locker room at St. Thomas Ice Arena, 950 Mendota Heights Road.

OCT. 7

Theft. A bicycle was stolen from an underground garage in the 2300 block of Lexington Avenue.

ROSEMOUNT

OCT. 11

Found property. A bicycle was found in the 14500 block of Dodd Boulevard.

Theft. Police arrested a Farmington woman, 26, for theft in the 3700 block of W. 150th Street.

Theft. A theft was reported in the 3700 block of W. 150th Street.

Theft. A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 4000 block of W. 133rd Court.

SOUTH ST. PAUL

OCT. 11

Property damage. A vehicle's passenger window was smashed in the 400 block of 1st Avenue S.

Theft. A man came into Bethesda Care Center, 724 19th Av. N., and asked to use the phone. After making a phone call, he identified himself as a South St. Paul assistant hockey coach and gave the receptionist what he said was his name. He told the receptionist that he needed to come up with $50 or his car would be towed. He asked if he could borrow the money, promising to come back later to pay it back and give the receptionist a couple of hockey tickets. The receptionist gave him the $50 but he did not come back. She called the school but was told there was no assistant hockey coach by the name the man had given.

Assault. Police arrested a 35-year-old man in the 100 block of 10th Avenue N. after he allegedly punched his live-in girlfriend and repeatedly shoved her. They had gotten into an argument because she was cooking some noodles for a sick friend, police said.

OCT. 12

Theft. Car stereos were stolen from two vehicles in the 300 block of 14th Avenue S.

WEST ST. PAUL

OCT. 13

Vehicle tampering. The Kmart at 50 Signal Hills Drive reported that a man was in the parking lot checking the door handles of several vehicles. An officer picked up the suspect and found that he had pending theft charges out of Hennepin County. He also may be charged with vehicle tampering, police said.

OCT. 14

Fire. A house in the 200 block of E. Haskell Street was engulfed by fire. All the occupants, including pets, got out safely.

OCT. 15

Theft. Two intoxicated men, ages 43 and 46, were cited for the theft of two bottles of liquor from MGM Liquor at 1600 S. Robert St. about 8:30 a.m.

Disturbance. TCF Bank, 1503 S. Robert St., reported that a man became upset because he had a negative account balance and began yelling and throwing objects on the floor. He was gone when police arrived. The bank was advised to send him a letter advising him not to come back.

Welfare check. A caller said she saw a woman hitting a child who appeared to be 4 or 5 years old near Marie Avenue and S. Robert Street. The caller yelled at the woman and the woman made an obscene gesture. She was gone when police arrived.
