EAGAN

MARCH 7

Fraud. Credit cards that were stolen at Target in Oakdale were used at the Target, 2000 Cliff Lake Road, and at SuperAmerica, 2250 Cliff Road, Mendota Heights. Video was requested from both locations.

MARCH 8

Found property. An Eagan woman reported the loss of her wallet in the 3200 block of Evergreen Drive after she discovered her purse in her driveway with the wallet missing. She thought she might have left the purse on top of her car when she backed out of her garage and drove off. She later received a call from a person who found the wallet a few miles away. The wallet was returned.

LAKEVILLE

FEB. 26

Weapons violation. A Lakeville man was arrested for possession of firearm by a convicted felon in the 11200 block of W. 210th Street.

FEB. 28

Theft. The theft of items valued at more than $1,000 was reported in the 20700 block of Holt Avenue.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS

FEB. 21

Drunkenness. A male student at Henry Sibley High School, 1897 Delaware Av., was arrested for disturbing the peace and using the women's bathroom during a school dance. The student, who had a blood-alcohol level of 0.17, was taken to the hospital at his parents' request for detoxification.

FEB. 23

Suspicious activity. Two suspicious persons were reported in an apartment building at 1860 Eagle Ridge Drive. When questioned, they said they had run out of gas on I-35E and walked to the apartment to find gas. Both had outstanding warrants and were arrested.

FEB. 26

Theft. A window of a locked company vehicle was broken and a GPS was stolen at the Airport Business Plaza, 1408 Northland Drive.

MARCH 7

Theft. A trailer and Bobcat were stolen from Clopay Distribution Center, 2360 Pilot Knob Road.

SOUTH ST. PAUL

FEB. 23

Illegal dumping. Two people reportedly were seen illegally dumping trash into a Dumpster on the 1000 block of 8th Avenue S. The discarded items included furniture, desks and tables.

FEB. 24

Burglary. Money and a car owner's manual were taken from a vehicle parked in a garage in the 1000 block of 6th Avenue S. The resident reported that the thief must have forced the garage door open to gain entry.

FEB. 25

Fraud. A resident of the 1700 block of Bromley Avenue reportedly received a fraudulent letter in the mail postmarked from Madrid requesting that he send $180 cash to Spain in order to collect his "winning sweepstakes" of more than $800,000.

Fraud. A resident of the 800 block of Wentworth Avenue reported that her Social Security number had been fraudulently given to the IRS by another filer. The resident said she had received a call from the IRS regarding unpaid taxes that she did not owe.

FEB. 27

Theft. The dashboard was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 300 block of 9th Avenue S.

Stolen property. A vehicle reported stolen from Eagan was recovered in the 6000 block of Lakewood Avenue. It was towed to the Eagan Police Department.

MARCH 1

Theft. A resident of the 800 block of Campbell Drive reported that he gave an Inver Grove Heights resident his Hyundai vehicle to repair; he said the Inver Grove Heights resident lent him a Ford Focus to drive while the Hyundai was being fixed. The South St. Paul resident later found out that the Ford was stolen, and he cannot get in touch with the Inver Grove Heights man.

WEST ST. PAUL

FEB. 23

Theft. A laptop computer was stolen from a classroom at St. Michaels Elementary School, 335 E. Hurley St.

Animal complaint. A resident of the 900 block of Humboldt Avenue reported that a raccoon had come onto his porch and would not leave. The resident said the raccoon was missing its tail and appeared sick. A resident from the same block called a short time later to report the raccoon.

Weapons. A dog was reportedly shot in the 30 block of Woodridge Lane. It was taken for treatment.

FEB. 24

Theft. A vehicle at Buffalo Wild Wings, 1458 Robert St. S., was broken into while the owner was having dinner. A laptop, an iPod and an external hard drive were taken.

FEB. 26

Noise complaint. Guests at a party on the 200 block of Westview Drive were asked to leave after police received two complaint calls about loud music and yelling.

FEB. 27

Theft. A woman was caught shoplifting $56.70 worth of merchandise at Wal-Mart, 1644 S. Robert St.

FEB. 28

Property damage. The coin container on an exterior coin vacuum cleaner was damaged and removed at Marathon Gas, 433 Mendota Road E.

Forgery. A customer dropped off a forged prescription for Oxycontin at the Kmart Pharmacy, 50 Signal Hills Drive.

Theft. Two modems and one router worth $160 were stolen from Radio Shack, 1200 S. Robert St.

MARCH 1

Animal complaint. A coyote was reportedly spotted near the intersection of Humboldt Avenue and Thompson Avenue W. It ran into nearby woods.

Theft. A resident of the 1700 block of S. Robert Street reported that her purse was stolen after it was left in a shopping cart in the parking lot of Target, 1750 S. Robert St.
