APPLE VALLEY

FEB. 22

Burglary. A forced-entry burglary was reported in the 6200 block of Greenleaf Trail.

EAGAN

FEB. 24

Fraud. An Eagan resident living in the 1700 block of Forssa Way reported that he had incurred three fraudulent charges on his credit card. The charges, ranging from $70 to $800, were made at a Pizza Hut, a gas company and T-Mobile in Indianapolis.

FEB. 24

Suspicious activity. An Eagan man living on the 3500 block of Lexington Avenue reported receiving numerous nuisance phone calls from his brother whom he hadn't seen in two years. The brother, who called at all hours of the day over a four-day period, was upset about being beaten up by his brother when they were kids, according to police reports. Eagan police contacted the caller, who then began berating and harassing an officer over the phone, police said. Police told him to stop calling his brother and the police officer who handled the case or he will be ticketed.

FEB. 25

Theft. An Eagan man reported the theft of his checkbooks, camera, laptop and Xbox 360 after his new girlfriend kicked his ex-girlfriend out of his residence in the 1900 block of Silver Bell Road. The man later reported back to police that in his last contact with his ex-girlfriend, she was on a Southwest Airlines plane about to leave the Twin Cities.

FEB. 25

Burglary. A burglary was reported in the 3400 block of Surrey Heights Drive. The suspect apparently entered through an unlocked patio door, took multiple items and trashed the apartment.

FEB. 27

Theft from vehicle. A vehicle's passenger-side window was broken and a purse and spare tire were stolen while it was parked at the Hampton Inn By Marriott, 3800 Eagandale Place.

LAKEVILLE

FEB. 18

Theft. A resident in the 16800 block of Isosceles Avenue reported some mail had been stolen.

FEB. 26

Burglary. A 28-year-old North Dakota man was arrested for possession of stolen property, burglary tools and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

ROSEMOUNT

FEB. 28

Fraud. A 42-year-old Lakeville woman was arrested in Rosemount for identity theft and theft by swindle.

SOUTH ST. PAUL

FEB. 18

Theft. A resident of the 100 block of 21st Avenue S. said that a red DVD player was stolen from her garage during the night. Both her garage and van were reportedly unlocked.

Break-in. The lock to a building on the 400 block of 2nd Avenue S. was pried off and destroyed.

FEB. 21

Credit card fraud. A stolen credit card reportedly had three fraudulent transactions at two different Holiday Station stores and one SuperAmerica store in the area.

WEST ST. PAUL

FEB. 19

Vandalism. A resident of the 200 block of Bernard St. E. reported that four kids had unplugged his Wi-Fi router and then had run away.

FEB. 21

Fire. A snowblower with a full tank of gas caught on fire on the 1000 block of Harmon Avenue. The snowblower was moved away from the house and into the street until the flames died out.

Trespassing. A trespasser on the 1800 block of Oakdale Avenue was swearing at residents of the Holiday Acres Apartments complex and scaring them, according to police reports. The trespasser left when police arrived.

Theft. A camera and monitor were stolen from Menards, 1445 Robert St. S. The thief then used a credit card to pay for other items, police said. Menards was tracking the credit card information to find the thief.

FEB. 22

Domestic case. A resident of the 1700 block of Oakdale Av. was arrested for alleged domestic dispute.

FEB. 26

Assault. A 19-year-old West St. Paul man was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon and making terroristic threats.
