The WCCO-TV newscast yesterday evening The Legal Bounty Put On Radio-Collared Bears « CBS Minnesota is generating comments and support from hunters and non-hunters. One of the hunters is hunter, guide, blogger, author (and bear researcher) T. R. Michels who sees the big picture and is not afraid to talk about it. He put up a new Facebook page "Protect Minnesota's Research Bears" at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Protect-Minnesotas-Research-Bears/160331730697185 and is looking for comments about what the radio-collared bears mean to the signers. He plans to take it all to the Commissioner (of the MN DNR) and the (MN) legislature. And that's just the beginning. This is important.

I've got a few more ideas for getting publicity for this issue. We need all of the signatures and comments we can get. Please mention this to all of your friends, especially hunters, and ask them to log on and comment, about protecting these few bears, even if they have never been on the website. The comments from hunters will go a long way with the Legislature. The page has received over 290 "Likes"already, between 5PM and 11PM this evening.

God bless,

T.R.
