• The Minnesota High School Cycling League is to start in August, and the season will include four mountain-bike races at different, still-to-be-determined sites.
• League is working with community education departments to bring the activity to schools. At this point, it will be a club sport.
• Riders do laps, and individuals' times are tallied for an overall team score.
• Teams include boys and girls.
