A plea deal in the case gives Erik Wojciechowski the opportunity to seek parole from prison after he has served 30 years. He was sentenced by Morrison County District Judge John Scherer on Tuesday. Wojciechowski pleaded guilty in November to two counts of first-degree murder in the death of his parents, Roger Wojciechowski, 64, and Jeanne Wojciechowski, 57.
Court records indicate the couple was found shot to death inside their home, and Erik Wojciechowski called the sheriff's department to say he had done "something very bad." He was arrested walking along a road several blocks from his home.
