GO TO THE FAIR

Representatives from more than 25 Minnesota and Wisconsin Community Supported Agriculture farms will be on hand at Seward Co-op's 7th-annual CSA Fair on April 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"This is as close as you can get to seeing where your food comes from without having to drive 50 miles out into the country and visiting a farm," said Tom Vogel, the co-op's marketing and member services manager. "It's a great way for shoppers to meet the people who produce their food. It's also a great place for kids to establish a connection between the place where their food comes from and the food on their plates." The fair takes place in the co-op's parking lot at 2111 E. Franklin Av., Minneapolis. The event is free and open to the public. Call 612-338-2465 or go to www.seward.coop for more information.
