Giving his best performance since he serenaded Kelly McGillis in a bar in "Top Gun," Tom Cruise dominated the "Lip Sync Battle" against Jimmy Fallon on Monday's "Tonight Show."
"Tonight I am facing off against one of the biggest movie stars of all time," the late-night host announced, before Cruise came out in force.
"My first song has been on the top of the charts all summer long, it's the song of the summer," the "Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation" action star said as he took the mic for The Weekend's "Can't Feel My Face."
Cruise didn't need any of the costumes or props that have become commonplace on the Spike spinoff show, as he expertly channeled the band with intense facial expressions and slick hand gestures.
Fallon's attempt at a comeback with the Rolling Stones fell on deaf ears as Cruise dominated the competition.
He went on to recall nights of steamy teenage romantic clinches as he took off his jacket, rolled up his shirt sleeves and jumped into Meatloaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" — flawlessly miming to both sets of vocals.
