An 88-year-old northern Minnesota man died Thursday evening in a rollover crash in Pine County, authorities said.
Junior Milton Krippner of Cromwell was traveling south on icy Interstate 35 in Finlayson Township when he lost control of his pickup truck and it rolled into the median. The vehicle landed on its roof, according to the State Patrol.
Krippner died at the scene just after 7:45 p.m. He was wearing his seat belt, and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash, the patrol said.
