Healing hands

"All My Children" veteran Cameron Mathison tries to prove he's got the magic touch during prime time in "The Carpenter's Miracle" (6 p.m. Saturday, GMC), a faith-driven movie about a handyman who seemingly brings a drowning victim back to life by lightly patting his hand in the emergency room. Wonder what the hospital bill will be for that procedure?

Garden variety

Public television gets down and boogies with highlights from the "Rock and Garden Music Special" (6 and 10 p.m. Sunday, TPT, Ch. 2) with performances by Howler, the Hold Steady and Doomtree from the Walker Art Center.

Shop till you drop

Jeremy Piven ventures far from "Entourage" territory for "Mr. Selfridge" (8 p.m. Sunday, TPT, Ch. 2), a new "Masterpiece" mini-series about Harry Selfridge, the Wisconsin-born retailer who revolutionized the concept of department stores in early 1900s London.
