HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS (FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE) - "How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)" stars Sarah Chalke as Polly, Jon Dore as Julian, Rachel Eggleston as Natalie, Brad Garrett as Max, Orlando Jones as Gregg, Elizabeth Perkins as Elaine, Rebecca Delgado Smith as Jenn. Have you heard?

In "What Plants Talk About" (7 p.m., KTCA, Ch. 2), a new installment of "Nature," ecologists examine how plants communicate with their surroundings. One snippet from the wild tobacco plant: "Tubby Smith got robbed!"

Monster mash

Before James Cameron and Robert Zemeckis, there was "Ray Harryhausen: Special Effects Titan" (7 p.m., Sony). This new documentary looks at the whiz behind the supercool action in "Jason and the Argonauts" and "The 7th Voyage of Sinbad."

Blue Chalke

I would love to see "Scrubs" veteran Sarah Chalke land a sitcom that plays to her off-kilter charms. Unfortunately, "How to Live With Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)" (8:31 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5) isn't it. The premise — she moves back in with less-than-thrilled Mom and Pop after a breakup — wears thin before you even get done reading the show's title.
