Crashes gone; congestion remains

The good news is that all the accidents clogging up traffic this morning on I-35W, Hwy. 36, I-94 and Hwy. 169 have cleared.

The good news is that all the accidents clogging up traffic this morning on I-35W, Hwy. 36, I-94 and Hwy. 169 have cleared.

But we are still seeing heavy traffic on southbound Hwy. 252 and Hwy. 10 as drivers try to avoid the mess still lingering on southbound 35W due to an earlier accident involving a semitrailer truck carrying bales of hay.

There's also heavy congestion on I-94 eastbound from 49th Avenue to the Lowry Hill Tunnel in downtown Minneapolis.

In the northwest metro, you'll need 24 minutes to get from Main Street in Rogers to the 494/694 split in Maple Grove.
