Crash on 35W cleared, delays remain

Two semitrailer trucks collided early this morning on southbound I-35W at County Road 10, causing major delays

It will take a while for 35W southbound to return to normal, but a crash involving two semitrailer trucks has been cleared and all lanes are back open.

The trucks, one carrying hay, collided around 5:40 a.m. and blocked the right lane. MnDOT even shut down the highway for short periods of time to sweep up hay.

At the worst, delays averaged 50 minutes from Lexington Avenue to I-694.
