Authorities have released the names of a Brooklyn Park couple killed in an Independence Day crash in Ham Lake.
Deborah Meyers, 63, and Richard Meyers, 65, died in the crash that happened about 2:45 p.m. at Crosstown Boulevard near NE. Urbank Street, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office said.
Preliminary information shows a vehicle going west on Crosstown Boulevard crossed the centerline and collided with an eastbound vehicle, the office said.
The Meyerses died at the scene. A male and female were also transported via ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids with noncritical injuries, the Sheriff's Office said.
