Corrections for Saturday, Aug. 16

A story on Page D1 in Friday's business section incorrectly said that the U.S. Treasury Department had twice asked for additional information about Medtronic Inc.'s proposed purchase of Covidien. It is the Federal Trade Commission that has twice asked for additional details.

A column on Page B1 Friday about World Fairs listed incorrect dates for several fairs in some editions. New York hosted the fair in 1964-65. Knoxville, Tenn., was its host in 1982. And the host city was Seattle in 1962.
